They tried to ignore me on the phone (tried to shove me on to a dealer) and would not answer my email. Finally, a certified letter got a phone call with no results. I wrote an article about the defective engine gaskets on the 91-93 318 series. This is a serious problem for owners of these cars. If I could get some good links for this problem, it would make a great addition to your site. I figured that BMW was treating me bad because I have their least expensive car, after hearing your testimony it seems universal. I have gathered and will have a 60 page document proving that the problems exist on that car. I feel like it would hold weight in any court, but I do not have the time to pursue it. I am supposed to mail it or some of it to the BMW rep. I spoke with on the phone. Perhaps threatening them or making them think they will possibly have to come to court may get me some reimbursement for my defective parts. There is a man in Canada who has filed against them on this very thing. I told him about your site, you may get to hear his horror story! Keep up the effort, I will pass this site on to any frustrated BMW owner I can find! Great work!
